With the car came an extensive spares package...
This is Lou D'Amico's ALTO Racing team 1969 Corvette race car. It is a famous vintage race car with a very
successful past. It has been featured in numerous magazines including a VETTE Magazine cover story. The
original sponsors were
ALTO Engineering, Eckler's, and ATL Fuel Cells. The car was purchased recently with a
truckload of spares from original owner, builder, and driver Lou D'Amico, after sitting untouched for 28 years
!

-At the three-hour IMSA GT race in Brigehampton in 1971: finishing fifth in the GTO class and 31st overall is the
#72 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Tom Felton and Lou D'Amico.
-At the
200 mile IMSA race at Lime Rock Park raceway in Lime Rock, Connecticut, on May 29th, 1972: finishing
sixth in the GTO class and 23rd overall is the #83 Corvette driven by Tom Felton and Lou D'Amico.
-At the
Camel GT six-hour race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio, on July 9th, 1972: finishing 4th
in GTO class and 11th overall is the ALTO Engineering #83 Corvette driven by Lou D'Amico and Tom Felton.
-At the Watkins Glen Camel 500 km race on September 10, 1972: Finishing third in the GTO class and seventh
overall, is the #83 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Lou D'Amico and Bob Farrell.
-At the three hour Daytona race on April 21st, 1973: finishing ninth in the GTO class and sixteenth overall is the
#83 ALTO Racing Chevrolet Corvette driven by Bob Farrell and Lou D'Amico.
-At the Pocono 500 mile race on June 10th, 1973: finishing fifth in the GTO class and seventh overall is the #83
Chevrolet Corvette driven by Lou D'Amico and Bob Farrell.
-At the
six-hour Camel GT race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, on July 15th, 1973: finishing eighth in the GTO
class and fifteenth overall is the #83 ALTO Racing Corvette driven by Lou D'Amico and Bob Farrell.
-At the Road Atlanta raceway in Braselton, Georgia, Champion Spark Plug Road Racing Classic final races of the
SCCA Club Racing series in 1974: finishing 2nd in A Production class is the #88 1969 Corvette L88 convertible
driven by Lou D'Amico.
