Lou D'Amico's 1969 Corvette
This is Lou D'Amico's ALTO Racing team 1969 Corvette race car. It is a very well-known vintage race
car with a very successful past. It has been displayed at car shows and shown in magazines including
a VETTE Quarterly cover story in 1977, and an April 2009 Corvette Magazine feature titled "Lou's Racer"
by Wayne Ellwood. The original sponsors were ALTO Engineering, Eckler's, and ATL Fuel Cells. The
car was purchased recently with a truckload of spares from original owner, builder, and driver Lou
D'Amico- after sitting untouched for 28 years! The car was displayed at the 2008 Palo Alto Concours.
