The 1959 Corvette from the Dr. Ernest Mario Corvette Collection was sold at the Mecum
Bloomington Gold Corvette Auction on June 26, 2010. It made the top ten sales results list, coming
in at number three. The car was sold the same day that it received Bloomington Gold Certification at
the 2010 Bloomington Gold. The car also received Regional and National Top Flight Awards from
NCRS in 2009. Additionally, it won First in Class at the 2004 Palo Alto Concours D'Elegance. The
new owner got a museum quality collector car with an extensive pedigree!
