1957 Chevrolet Corvette
1957 Chevrolet Corvette. Car has Paul Newman built chassis with C-4 Corvette
suspension. Drivetrain consists of Chevrolet LS-7 engine and Tremec T-56 transmission.
This is the ultimate in restoration/modification and is being built to the highest standard.
Tunnel is being modified to fit 6-speed transmission. Driver
foot-box has been heavily modified to fit taller owner. Note
clearance hole in spare tire well to fit chassis.
Surround has been changed. Note flawless installation and
fitment. Many hours went into making this fit perfectly.
Note how well surround fits inner fenders.
Front end fits flawlessly. Gaps are good, but
will be blueprinted and made perfect.
This is the car as we received it. Note existing 1970's style flares.
Body received was rough and needed lots of work. Chassis
looks very nice, although it will have to be slightly modified.
Chassis features: A premium Newman Car Creations C-4 suspension conversion
(84-87 Corvette), new Dana 44 differential, carbon fiber axles, carbon fiber driveshaft,
13" Baer brake kit, new Chevrolet LS-7 engine/Tremec T56 6-speed, full length
stainless headers, stainless fuel tank, Bilstein shocks, Be Cool radiator, power
brake unit, and special Vette Brakes and Products composite springs.
